How do astrology notifications work in Synchronicity?
Set up notifications from your profile and tell the difference between a calculated event and when your device delivers the alert.
Turn on alerts from your profile
Sign in, open Profile and find the astrology notifications switch. The app can send alerts for different kinds of events. A Moon sign change describes a change in the Moon's calculated position, while a personal transit compares the current sky with your own chart.
Check your device as well as your profile
Web push depends on the browser and device. Allow notifications when prompted on a supported device. On iPhone or iPad, open the app from its Home Screen installation when setting up web push. If nothing arrives, check the app preferences and the device's notification permissions, including Focus or similar settings.
Read the alert in context
Delivery can be later than the calculated event time because of network or device conditions. If you're troubleshooting, check the diagnostics in Profile and try the test notification when it is available. Open the relevant view to see what an astrology alert describes. Treat the alert as a reminder to look at the chart, with no expectation that a real-life event must occur.
